This weekend we went to a birthday party for Cameron's bosses little girl Valentina. Maddie had her first cake experience there and trust me she couldn't get enough. Carter was the same way he loved it. The birthday party was for a seven year old so of coarse there were a bunch of six seven and eight year old kids running around and Maddie just loved them. She crawled right up to them while they were eating and stood up at the table just to see what the big girls were doing. Carter on the other hand was a bit shy, he isn't a fan of big crowds, but he still had plenty of fun though. I don't have any pictures of the party because I thought I left my camera it at home but no it was in my diaper bag the whole time oops!!
This weekend we also took a trip to the beach. we were just planning to take a short walk on the boardwalk and then have a quick picnic in the sand. That was the plan so we didn't even bring our swimming suits big mistake it was 90 degrees out. so we stuck our feet in the water and stripped Carter and Madaley down to their diapers and let them stick their little toes in the water as well.

later I went out and bought about 300 plastic balls brought them home and filled the pack in play up with them Carter and Maddie had a blast .
we had another exciting weekend and hope yours was just as fun!!

The balls are such a great idea! They're so cute...as usual!!!! :) I love that I'm really starting to learn their personalities by reading this blog as well. I take it that Carter is a bit shy and Maddie is a social butterfly. :)
