Just an update

I feel like I have been in a blogging funk these last couple of months, so I decided to give everyone a little update. we really haven't been up to much ,I've been a real homebody lately besides a few trips to the park and grocery store. Cameron started school a few months ago, and is working on his Bachelor's Degree. he really seems to enjoy being back in school.

Carter is finally potty trained!! we have been trying for the last year to get that boy potty trained,  it was a nightmare. I was completely shocked last  Tuesday  when carter just got it and hasn't had a diaper on since. He has even been keeping his underwear dry at night  besides the first few nights we will see what happens the next couple of nights. 

Carter is also obsessed with Jake and the Never Land Pirates  and yells ahoy Bucky about 798609 times a day. Carter recently watched a show about farms and learned that milk comes from cows so now he will ask for "cow milk"  

Carter and Maddie have become our little singing machines they sing along to everything  its so cute. Maddie especially loves to sing to Katy Perry's Roar, it sounds more like this though tiger fire fire roar oh oh OH oh lion roar. 

Baby girl is still in love Mickey Mouse she cant say Goofy so she calls him poopy.

 Maddie has started taking her clothes of when she gets mad, she even tries to do this when we are out in public. Any advise on how to stop this? That is about all we have been up to lately 

Maddie is TWO!!

At two years old Maddie is 36" tall and 26.5lbs. She adores Mickey Mouse I mean she is completely obsessed!! she loves her cow girl boots, and wants to wear them everyday.

she really loves anything girly like bows jewelry purses  etc.

Baby girl loves books, and will even point out some of the letters that she knows like A B Eand M. we are working on the rest. Maddie still cant say Maddie so she calls herself Manny.I think its cute, so she can call herself Manny as long as she wants.

It only took two years but baby girl finally enjoys the swings. 

Madaley is  starting to get some hair, and it is starting to curl I am sure it's just baby curl but I will be so happy if it stays. she is still bald compared to every other two year old . 

Maddie loves babies she points out babies whenever we are out, and will say in a very quiet voice hi baby. one of her favorite things to do is watching videos of her cousins Annie and Spencer who are both about 10 month old.

Maddie loves to point out animals and make their animal sounds,

 she isn't a fan of them close up . 

Baby girl loves to sleep in Carters Bed. she loves to put her toys to bed including my phone. Maddie is such a good eater she loves everything including her veggies.

Madaley still isn't a fan of nursery. If you ask her if she wants to go she will yell-growl NOOO and through a huge fit, its so bad that she doesn't even last five minutes before the nursery leaders are bringing her back to us. lets just say that Maddie has one the nursery battle for now and we will try again in a month or so.

 Maddie and Carter get along pretty well for the most part, baby girl can be really bossy, but just to Carter, another thing we are working on.

Carter loves to ride horses, so we bought him his first pair of cowboy boots.

while we were in Illinois I decided to have a small get together with just family to celibrate carters birthday. I usaly try to do a birthday party for him while we are up north. The works with food,cake and balloons. This year im doing a combined party for Carter and Maddie and didnt want to plan two parties.  These are a few pictures from carters cupcake gathering!!!

Carter is 3 
He loves to ride horses, and is becoming a real pro.
Carter loves his little sister, but has no problem bossing her around. When he is upset with her he will say MaddieElle (Madaley Brielle) in a very serious voice.
Carter's best friend is Aurora, every time we leave the house Carter gets so excited because he thinks we are going to see her.
Most Sundays Carter cant wait to go to nursery, when we get to church Carter will say open the door I go to nursery!!  His favorite songs are Jesus wants me for a sunbeam, The wheels on the bus and Popcorn Popping. If you cough Carter will ask you in a very concerned voice if you are okay. If you ask him if he is okay he will say I okay or yeah im fine!!He calls money clink clink. Carter's favorite pastimes are jumping in puddles, going for walks and playing in the bath tub. At 3 carter is very well-mannered and always says please asnd thank you and no thank you. Carter loves to say bedtime prayers and has learned the longer his prayer is the longer he can stay up. Most nights he is thankful for every toy in his room and I mean every single toy. The blue car the red car cars that go vroom vroom  he is also very thankful for his Mommy and Daddy, Maddie for Nana and DD Oma and Opa Melissa and Aurora. 
we love our Carter so much and cant wait to watch him grow this next year, and see what fun things he will learn!!

Jaxson's Ice Cream

Monday night we went to Jaxson's for Icecream where you get the biggest ice cream dishes I have ever seen!!! I dont think it is possible to finish all the icecream in one sitting but believe me that didnt stop us from trying.

I asked the waitress if i could get a smaller version of the dish I ordered. she said sure thing, and this is what I got!!
