A few months ago Cameron put together a garden box. He planted tomato cucumber and and strawberry plants.

Carter loves the garden so much, he insist on being picked up everyday to see the plants. He loves to help water the garden.
whenever we pull a tomato or a strawberry from the garden carter thinks it is for him and wants to eat it right away. Carter wont have anything to do with veggies and most fruits unless they come from the garden. For example the other day I wanted carter to eat some baby carrots, he didn't want any thing to do with them so I went out and acted like they came from the garden, you guessed it carter gobbled them up.

That is absolutely hilarious about Carter eating anything that comes from the garden. I'm taking notes. ;) I can't believe he was eating that huge tomato, and I have to believe that if you guys bought him a tomato from the store and handed it to him he probably wouldn't be interested. Super cute! Great job on the garden, by the way. We just planted tomatoes a few weeks ago and we are still waiting for a crop to arrive. :)
ReplyDeleteCassie we have tried to give him a tomato from the store and he just pushes it away and says no.thats cool that you are growing tomatoes too. It's pretty awesome to be able to say that you grow food!!
